It is 4AM. Dark. Bone chilling cold. The snow creaks under my feet as I carry my equipment to the car and squeeze the door shut - I don't want to wake up the dogs. The car rattles to life. I make a mental note to get the muffler fixed.

I creep the car as carefully as a rusty muffler will let me until I'm out the drive and on my way to the top of the hill. Maybe today will be the day that the sun rises with glorious reds and magentas.
Maybe today the colors will be just right. Maybe! We'll soon see!
